Kingston, WA (March 2015) - Tim Ryan Construction, Inc. (TRC) is proud to announce that they have been awarded the contract for the construction of the Kingston Community Center project owned by the Village Green Foundation. The project includes the construction of a single story, 22,900 square foot, building consisting of a Boys & Girls Club, senior center, meeting and conference space, and the Kingston branch of the Kitsap Regional Library.
The project has been targeted for a LEED Silver designation so it is critical that the contractor manage and document the project correctly to receive this important designation. The company’s previous LEED Certified projects include the Rice Fergus Miller Architects office building – LEED Platinum, and the Suquamish Museum – LEED Gold. TRC has certified LEED Professionals on staff, and is a member of the United States Green Building Council.
TRC will use Building Information Modeling (BIM) and cloud-based project management systemsto collaborate efficiently with the project's architects, user groups and owner to streamline the building process. These industry leading technologies and building methods result in fewer changes, improved schedules and the ability to stay on budget while delivering a fantastic end product.
Bremerton, WA (January 2015)- Tim Ryan Construction's Vice President, Kevin Ryan, has been elected the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Kitsap County's President for 2015. Kevin served previously as the board's Vice President and is honored to step up as President.
Kevin stated in the Kitsap HBA January newsletter that "This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the HBA of Kitsap County. Coming from a family business that has been building in the industry for 58 years I can appreciate the legacy established by those before me."
TRC is a current member of the Kitsap HBA and proudly supports Kevin's continued involvement with the organization.
