About

History

Tim Ryan started the company in 1957, in Kirkland Washington. The major focus of construction projects at the that time was residential construction and remodeling throughout the greater King County area.

In 1972, Tim Ryan moved his family and business to Kingston, Washington. He changed the focus of construction projects from residential to commercial building, remodeling and development. Developing, building and leasing the Poulsbo Village Shopping Center on Highway 305 was a major project which added momentum to the company’s reputation in the commercial construction arena.

Tim Ryan Construction began as a family owned business and has retained that family profile today. With the addition of Tim’s sons, Dan and Kevin Ryan to the management team, the company has moved into the second generation of family management and ownership. Tim Ryan Construction was incorporated in 1993 and the family management team provides over 120 years of construction experience.

Community Support

Tim Ryan Construction has always been a strong supporter of the local community and understands the impact our payroll dollars and support has on the local economy. Over the years, we have vested in youth sports programs, domestic violence protection, healthcare, community support services, community events, chambers of commerce, schools and the arts. So when we are selected to provide construction services, the economic impact of those dollars is felt throughout our Kitsap County communities.
