Bremerton, WA (August, 2010) – Tim Ryan Construction, Inc. (TRC) is pleased to announce the award of a contract to renovate the old Sears Annex building on 5th street in downtown Bremerton. The completed project will provide 20,810 square feet of professional office space, 9,300 square feet of below grade parking, as well as 1,935 square feet of retail/restaurant lease space. The completed building will be the future home of Rice Fergus Miller Architecture & Planning.
Rice Fergus Miller has designed the project targeting the highest level of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. Dan Ryan, President and Adam Vega, Project Manager of TRC are certified as LEED Accredited Professionals and will oversee the construction project with Leon Capps as Project Superintendant.
TRC is a member of the US Green Building Council. The mission of the US Green Building Council is “To transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.” Utilizing the LEED rating program the project must document that it meets the criteria required to be certified as LEED Platinum. This will be TRC’s first LEED project.
TRC is a Poulsbo-based commercial general contractor that specializes in medical and professional office buildings, retail and tenant improvements. They have completed many local projects such as the Salmon Medical building in Silverdale, the 6th & Pacific building in Bremerton and the South Kitsap Medical Campus in Port Orchard.
